Visited the first time in a while since I had changed job. I expected a line so I got there early. To my surprise, there were only 4 other parties there on a Sunday night. Maybe it's the pandemic or the overall economy. The food and service were just as I had remembered.

This is a solid spot. I frequent here because it is so good, but so simple. I love that this place feels family run. The meat quality here has always been excellent. The soup faces they have here just a touch of flavor, which I prefer something not too heavy. They have a sauce bar so you can go up and make your own sauces. The service here is always excellent. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a simple shabu spot. The portions feel a little smaller than other restaurants, but I think that is a good thing. You get just enough food. I hope they bring back their coffee, jelly dessert !

The hot pot selections were great. The food was delicious and I had spicy miso pot and my husband had the sukiyaki pot! Both were delicious!! The portion sizes are based on which size you want to order. The servers were attentive and helpful. I would recommend trying to come when it's less busy. They tend to get a bit busy on weekend nights! But other than that the food and service was great!
